I created a fictional rebrand of the Safari Park, separating them further from the zoo and giving them a completely new identity system. Their current identity may feel like a safari, but it doesn’t necessarily stand out from the competition. My goal was to design something as exciting and wild as the animals inside.
With a fresh, new identity, the Safari Park will stand out from the competition and attract people of all ages.

The brand is embodied by a stereotypical Jewish grandmother, known as Bubbe. On the packaging, customers will find humorous phrases that she is known for saying.
The Fresh Express
The Problem:Solve the East Savannah Gateway's lack of healthy, accessible food.
I was responsible for researching the current food situation, in terms of health and accessibility. Most of the area within the East Savannah Gateway can be described as a food desert, which is an area with little or no access to healthy and affordable food. There are no grocery stores within the area. There are a small handful of take-out restaurants, convenience stores, and other food sources, very few which can be considered "healthy".
The Solution: Design a food truck that acts as a mobile farmer's market.
The idea of using a food truck would solve the community's problem of inaccessibility to healthy and fresh produce. Instead of traveling to a source of food, the source of food comes right to them. This is an important quality as the East Savannah Gateway is a large span of land and there are also issues with access to public transportation.
Upperatus is a company based out of Los Angeles, California who work to raise awareness and funds for a different charitable organization each month. They do this through the sale of graphic shirts for men and women. Each design is limited-edition and will only be sold in that month. $10 of each item sold goes towards the charity!
In March of 2013, I was able to work with the band Sea Wolf to create this limited edition t-shirt. 10 dollars from each shirt goes to CASA LA, to improve the lives of foster children.
